This was stated on TV by the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, Ukrinform reports.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the patient does not use the funds of the &#8220;Health Screening 40+&#8221; program, they will be returned at the end of this budget year (to the state &#8211; ed.). Next year, the funds will be allocated again, because this is not a one-time campaign, but a nationwide program,&#8221; Lyashko emphasized.<\/p>\n<p>As the minister recalled, within the framework of the &#8220;Health Screening 40+&#8221; program, Ukrainians can undergo examinations for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus and mental health.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Most Ukrainians die from cardiovascular diseases, and in 2025, 80% of disability cases were diagnosed precisely because of these diseases,&#8221; Lyashko noted.<\/p>\n<p>He reminded that in the &#8220;Health Screening 40+&#8221; program, the patient is credited with funds from the state to his card, the patient chooses a medical institution on the NHSU website, signs up for screening, and only after the examination can he pay with these funds.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If the patient does not use the funds of the &#8220;Screening 40+&#8221; program, they will return to the state budget.
