As part of the eReconstruction program, they can reserve state funds for a housing voucher and use them to purchase housing.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine has opened a reservation for housing vouchers for internally displaced persons from TOT<\/p>\n<p>This involves using funding that the Government recently allocated for housing vouchers for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories. At the first stage, IDPs who have the status of a combatant or persons with disabilities as a result of the war can use the program. According to the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine &#8211; Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksiy Kuleb, the state has already allocated UAH 6.6 billion for the implementation of the program. This will allow providing housing to approximately 3,300 families who lost their homes due to the war. At the same time, the government is working to attract additional funding to expand the program.<\/p>\n<p>Who can use the program and how to apply<\/p>\n<p>Apply for a reservation can be made by recipients whose applications have already been approved by the relevant commissions. This can be done through the Diya application. After submitting an application, it is placed in an electronic queue, which is formed automatically &#8211; by the date and time of the application. The program operator &#8211; Ukrposhta &#8211; checks the availability of financing. If it is available, the applicant receives confirmation of the reservation of funds within five days.<\/p>\n<p>What happens after the reservation<\/p>\n<p>After that, the applicant has 60 days to conclude a contract for the purchase of housing. The funds can be used to buy an apartment or house, invest in construction or partially repay a mortgage. If the funds are not used during this period, they are returned to the program operator and sent to the next applicants in the queue. In this case, the application can be submitted again.<\/p>\n<p>How the electronic queue works<\/p>\n<p>A housing voucher confirms the state&#8217;s guarantee to finance the purchase of housing within the amount of up to 2 million UAH. The document is generated automatically after the commission&#8217;s decision and is entered into the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property. Its validity period is 5 years, during which the purchased housing cannot be alienated. The &#8220;Housing for IDPs with TOT&#8221; program is part of the state initiative &#8220;eReconstruction&#8221; and is aimed at supporting internally displaced persons who have lost their homes due to the war.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ukraine has launched a new phase of housing support for internally displaced persons from temporarily occupied territories.
