The minimum wage in Ukraine may increase to UAH 9,546 from January 1, 2027. This amount is provided for by the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027, which the government submitted to the Verkhovna Rada. Glavkom writes about this.<\/p>\n
Currently, the minimum wage is UAH 8,647, and from January 1, 2027 it is proposed to increase it to UAH 9,546. If the proposed changes are adopted, it will increase by UAH 899, or approximately 10.4%.<\/p>\n
In terms of hourly rate, the minimum wage is proposed to be set at UAH 57.50.<\/p>\n
At the same time, UAH 9,546 is still a proposed figure. The draft state budget is to be considered by the Verkhovna Rada, during which changes may be made to the document.<\/p>\n
The draft state budget for 2027 also proposes to increase the subsistence minimum to UAH 3,559 per person per month.<\/p>\n
For able-bodied persons, the indicator is proposed to be set at UAH 3,691, and for persons who have lost their ability to work, it is UAH 2,878.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, on September 15, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Verkhovna Rada the draft State Budget of Ukraine for 2027. The document is registered under No. 16000. UAH 1.02 trillion was allocated in the budget for the financial support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The subsidy to the Pension Fund should amount to UAH 290 billion, and UAH 42 billion is planned to be allocated for housing subsidies and benefits. The draft budget also provides UAH 1.6 billion for financing the telethon. At the same time, no separate expenses for holding elections are included in the budget of the Central Election Commission.<\/p>\n
The draft budget was prepared on the basis of the Budget Declaration for 2027\u20132029, which the Cabinet of Ministers approved on June 17.
