This is according to an analysis by Opendatabot.<\/p>\n<p>Data shows that 222,288 new sole proprietorships were registered in Ukraine over this nine-month period, while 155,645 entrepreneurs ceased operations. Consequently, there was a net increase of 66,643 businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Kyiv recorded the highest number of new registrations, with 27,300. It was followed by the Dnipropetrovsk region (22,300), the Lviv region (17,200), and the Odesa region (16,700). Retail trade remains the most popular sector among new entrepreneurs, accounting for 60,300 sole proprietorships.
