The entity was previously owned by Sergey Kalashnikov, a former member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation. This information was released via the Prozorro.Sale platform.<\/p>\n<p>The starting price is set at 207.75 million hryvnias\u2014half the price of the previous auction for this asset.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Motordetal-Konotop is one of the largest plants in Europe specializing in the production of cylinder liners for internal combustion engines used in automobiles, tractors, ships, locomotives, and stationary machinery,&#8221; the State Property Fund stated. &#8220;The facility possesses the necessary equipment and infrastructure to conduct manufacturing operations.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The production structure includes iron-foundry, machining, and auxiliary workshops. The enterprise employs over 600 people, and its client base features prominent companies such as Rolls-Royce, Scania, MAN, Iveco, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Renault, and CAT, according to the State Property Fund.<\/p>\n<p>In 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court issued a ruling to seize the 100% stake in the authorized capital of LLC Motordetal-Konotop\u2014formerly held by ex-Federation Council member Sergey Kalashnikov\u2014for the benefit of the state. The auction for the sale of Motordetal-Konotop, scheduled for October 20, did not take place due to a lack of participants.
