The NGO \u201cIDPs of Ukraine\u201d explained the details.<\/p>\n<p>What has changed<\/p>\n<p>If the owner of the property is recognized as missing or disappeared under special circumstances, the guardian of the property may receive compensation.<br \/>\nIf the owner was deprived of his liberty due to the war, his family member receives compensation.<br \/>\nA family member also consents to the payment of compensation if the co-owner of the property was deprived of his liberty.<br \/>\nPersons without a TIN for religious reasons can submit an application only in paper form.<br \/>\nFor mortgaged objects, compensation is possible only with the written consent of the creditor.<br \/>\nThe consent of a foreign co-owner or stateless person is not required.<br \/>\nIf the settlement where the property is located is located in a zone of hostilities or occupation, the recipient may return the funds or their remainder.<br \/>\nAfter deoccupation or the end of hostilities, a new application can be submitted.<br \/>\nIf the amount of damage exceeds the amount of compensation, the application may be satisfied if there is co-financing from Ukrainian or international organizations.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, see the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated March 14, 2025 No. 296.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has updated the rules for providing compensation for property damaged as a result of the Russian war.
