This was reported by the press service of the AMCU.<\/p>\n<p>The committee notes that both groups are the largest producers of shell eggs and have a significant influence on the market. The investigation was initiated after a significant increase in egg prices in October 2024 without objective economic reasons.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2025, the AMCU already provided ten leading egg producers and sellers with mandatory recommendations for consideration on compliance with antimonopoly legislation. However, the results of a further investigation of the economic activities of key market players revealed signs of collusion and violation of the principles of economic competition.<\/p>\n<p>The consideration of the case is ongoing.
