The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to provide additional reservations for gas industry workers. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the government’s question hour.
Who is the reservation for?
According to Shmyhal, the government will provide reservations not only for gas company employees, but also for regional gas repair teams. He noted that these measures are necessary to maintain the stable operation of critical infrastructure, RBC-Ukraine writes.
“Gas workers have already been reserved, and now repair teams will be added to this list. We do not see any obstacles to the implementation of this decision,” the Prime Minister said.
People’s Deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko confirmed that the issue of gas workers’ reservations has become the subject of government discussion. According to him, this decision is extremely important, and he is waiting for its official approval.
