VAKS confiscated the assets of a Belarusian company for state revenue

The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has confiscated the assets of the Belarusian company OJSC “Belaruskali” in Ukraine, which were discovered by employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office. This was reported by the press services of the NABU and the SAPO.

“The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court has satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and has collected assets belonging to OJSC “Belaruskali” into state income. These include corporate rights, funds, railway cars, and potash fertilizers. According to the court’s decision, the following have been collected into state income: over 70 thousand tons of potassium chloride, the average market value of which is over 55 million USD; monetary assets worth over 250 million UAH; 1,545 railway cars; 48% of the authorized capital of LLC “Agrorozkvit”, the authorities inform.

The specified court decision may be appealed in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Code of Administrative Procedure of Ukraine.

Earlier, the Ministry of Justice, based on materials from the NABU and the SAPO, filed a lawsuit to confiscate the assets of OJSC “Beloruskaliy”. This involved corporate rights, funds, railway cars, and potash fertilizers. The specified fact was established by NABU detectives and SAPO prosecutors during the pre-trial investigation.
