The Rada adopted a law on the creation of a unified system of the social sphere: what does this mean?

The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a law on the creation of a unified social system that will unite all registers and databases in the field of social protection.

Bill No. 11377 provides for the formation of an integrated reference and information environment that will include more than 30 existing registers and services. This will eliminate duplication of payments, reduce the number of errors in data, and speed up their processing.

The Unified Information System of the Social Sphere will implement electronic information exchange in online mode with a number of registers, in particular:

The Unified State Register of Conscripts, Military Enlisted Persons and Reservists (“Oberig”)
Electronic Health System (ESOZ)
Demographic Register
Register of Vehicles
Register of Individuals – Taxpayers
Automated Enforcement System
System for Controlling Persons, Vehicles and Cargo Crossing the State Border of Ukraine
State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens
State Register of Real Property Rights to Real Estate
State Land Cadastre
Unified Judicial Information and Communication System
other electronic information resources, etc.

Thanks to centralized data accounting, it is expected to reduce costs, automate processes and improve the quality of service to citizens. Previously, the social sphere operated on the basis of dozens of disparate registers, which complicated work and slowed down the provision of services.
