Ukrainian farmers must solve four problems to successfully pass 2025

According to experts, farmers will be able to solve most of the problems in 2025 thanks to innovations, as technologies help reduce production costs and optimize expenses. This is reported by UNIAN.

The interest in innovative solutions is associated not only with war, but also with weather changes. Frequent droughts and downpours reduce yields. Experts note that in such conditions, businesses should increase efficiency and reduce costs.

According to market participants, for success in the next season, farmers should focus on the following areas:

  • investing in new crop varieties and irrigation systems to save water, as well as improve soil quality;
  • attracting funds for the production of digital technologies and automation – farmers should use drones, sensors to remain competitive;
  • precision farming and precise positioning of equipment, which will optimize field work and reduce duplication of efforts;
  • development of green energy: investments in biogas plants, solar and wind energy.

Experts admit that 2025 will not be easy for farmers. Military risks, including mobilization, and bureaucratic and fiscal challenges will not go away, and the beginning of European integration in the agricultural sector will complicate the lives of farmers.
