Ukraine must come to the disclosure of banking secrecy, as this is provided for by the National Revenue Strategy, said First Deputy Minister of Finance Denys Ulyutin.
“The National Revenue Strategy states that we must come to this (disclosure of banking secrecy – IF-U). And this will happen in any case,” – said Ulyutin at a meeting of the Rada’s Finance Committee on Thursday.
According to him, a complex discussion is currently underway between the Ministry of Finance and the National Bank.
“If we had drafted this entire law with all the things that we consider necessary, this law would not even have reached the committee,” – he added.
As reported, the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy recommended in the first reading bill No. 13233 on the SEPA payment zone, which provides for the creation of a register of bank accounts and safes of all citizens.
