The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted Resolution No. 897-r “On Submission to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the Draft Law of Ukraine “On Termination of the Convention on International Road Carriage of Passengers and Luggage in Relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation”. This is reported by Golos Ukrainy.
With this document, the government submits to the parliament a relevant bill proposing to terminate the Convention concluded on October 9, 1997 in Bishkek and ratified by the Law of Ukraine No. 581-XIV dated April 8, 1999.
The purpose of the decision is to finally terminate the international legal document in relations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
