(Українська) Мінімалка з 1 квітня: як зміниться розмір зарплати українців

From April 1, the minimum wage in Ukraine will remain unchanged. According to the draft law “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2025”, it is established that from the beginning of the new year the minimum will not increase.

Currently, the minimum wage is 8,000 hryvnias per month or 48 hryvnias per hour. This is the officially established amount of wages that employers must adhere to. Usually, the minimum wage is reviewed every year, but this time it was decided to “freeze” it at the current level.

However, in 2025, the minimum wage was “frozen” – this means that with the beginning of the new year its amount was not increased and remained at the previous level of 8,000 hryvnias. During the Christmas period, a bill was introduced to gradually increase the minimum wage during the year, but this initiative was not implemented.

Thus, from April 1, 2025, the minimum wage will remain at the level of 8,000 hryvnias per month.
