The reserve fund of the state budget for 2026 has almost been exhausted. Currently, money is allocated to finance urgent needs of the state. This is reported by RegioNews with reference to the Ministry of Finance.
“The reserve fund is used for priority needs of the state. At the same time, the reserve fund is not a static resource: during the year its volume can be revised and increased depending on the current needs of the state,” the report says.
In particular, more than 47.5 billion UAH from the reserve fund was directed to security, restoration and support of the economy. Earlier, Ukrainian journalist and founder of the “Our Money” project Yuriy Nikolov reported that as of the beginning of this week, the reserve fund of the State Budget had decreased to a record low level – about 700 million UAH.
