From July 1, 2025, a large-scale verification of internally displaced persons (IDPs) will begin in Ukraine, which may lead to the termination of social payments for some of the displaced.
According to the new rules, the IDP status will be canceled if a person:
Stays abroad for more than 90 consecutive days.
Does not confirm his presence in Ukraine through “Diya” or social services.
Does not have official documents explaining the long-term absence (treatment, study, business trip, death of a relative).
As a reminder, the Ministry of Social Policy emphasizes that the verification is aimed at optimizing payments and guaranteeing assistance to those who actually live in Ukraine.
