PrivatBank has put up for auction on Prozorro.Sale the Dnipro Arena stadium and a football training base. The starting price is UAH 150 million. This was reported by the press service of the state bank.
PrivatBank has put up for auction in the electronic trading system Prozorro.Sale one of the largest sports facilities in the city of Dnipro — the Dnipro Arena football stadium (Metallurg stadium) and a football training base with an indoor field, acquired as collateral for loans before the nationalization of the bank.
The sale of the Dnipro Arena stadium and the football training base is being carried out within the framework of the Strategy and operational plan for the management of problem assets of PrivatBank approved by the Supervisory Board of PrivatBank, according to a transparent and open bidding procedure.
The funds received from the sale will be used to increase the bank’s financial result, and accordingly, to increase the amount of taxes and dividends paid to the state budget.
The training base is located in the forest and park zone of the Prydniprovsk municipal district. Built in 1971, reconstructed in 2010. The training base includes three artificial and four grass fields, an indoor arena with an artificial turf field and stands for 506 seats, a cottage town for football players and two office and residential buildings, including a medical and rehabilitation center, a conference hall, a room for coaching staff meetings, a swimming pool, a gym, a sauna and showers.
