The Cabinet of Ministers will introduce a draft amendment to the state budget of Ukraine for 2025. This was announced by MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, reports “DS”.
“This has never happened before and will happen again… This year (as in 2024 and 2023) the budget does not have enough money for the army. As of mid-May, it is already clear that the planned expenditures for the army are not enough, and the need will be greater. Somewhere by 200 billion UAH now,” says a post on his Telegram channel.
According to the MP, therefore, in the “relatively near future” the government will introduce a draft amendment to the state budget for 2025 – it is at least about an additional 200-250 billion UAH for the army, and the Verkhovna Rada will vote for it.
“As long as I don’t betray anything here, all military payments have been and will be going according to plan. The government is still making “approximations.” But it’s obvious that they will have to change the budget. Therefore… soon we will face another epic called “vote for changes to the budget so that the army has money,” Zheleznyak added.
