Tariffs for gas transportation for domestic consumers of Ukraine will increase by 305%, namely four times. The tariff increases from 124.16 to 501.97 UAH per 1,000 cubic meters.

“LTD “GTS Operator of Ukraine” received from the National Commission for the Regulation of Energy and Utilities of Ukraine approval of a project to increase the tariff for gas transportation for consumers from 124 to 503 UAH per thousand cubic meters. That is, the tariff will increase by 305%, or more than 4 times. The company’s management explains this by the termination of the agreement on the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine to the EU. That is, Ukrainian enterprises now have to support the monopolist’s income instead of the Russians,” the media reported.
