In April, the Ukrainian tractor truck market showed rapid growth, providing 1,414 registrations. The main driver was the import of new equipment, which increased by almost two-thirds compared to March due to the renewal of the fleet by large logistics companies under long-term European contracts. Domestic tractor truck market
Domestic resale of tractor trucks in April generated 814 registrations. The indicator decreased by 3.8% compared to March, but in annual terms this sector grew by 19.7%. The average age of vehicles in this segment is 14.5 years. The leader of domestic transactions was the DAF XF with a result of 240 vehicles. The following positions were occupied by the MAN TGX with an indicator of 119 units, and the Volvo FH with a result of 107 units.

The Renault Magnum, Renault Premium and MAN TGA models are also in demand among domestic carriers for servicing the agricultural sector, transporting construction materials and domestic routes.
Import of used equipment
The segment of newly driven tractors with mileage reached 494 units, which is almost 10% more than in March. Compared to April last year, imports increased by 23.5%. The average age of driven vehicles is 9.7 years, carriers buy Euro-6 standard equipment for international flights. The first place in the ranking is held by the DAF XF with a result of 153 units. The second place is occupied by the MAN TGX with a result of 124 vehicles. The third position is occupied by the Scania R-Series with a number of 69 units, and the fourth by the Volvo FH with a result of 33 vehicles. The list also includes long-haul versions of the MAN TGS, DAF CF and Renault T-Truck.
New trucks and the emergence of brands from Asia
The sector of new tractor units grew by 63.1% compared to March and by 53.6% compared to the same period last year. During the month, Ukrainian license plates received 106 new trucks. The leader of the primary market was Mercedes-Benz Actros with a result of 26 units. The second and third positions were shared by Volvo FH and MAN TGX with an indicator of 15 vehicles each. The Renault brand was in fourth and fifth place with the registration of 13 T and C series tractor units. The appearance of two Chinese Jiefang JP6 heavy tractor units from the FAW concern and two Turkish Ford F-Max mainline trucks was also recorded.
