What is known about the DAM?

Electricity prices in Ukraine: what is known?
Despite high prices on the spot market, electricity prices for household consumers in Ukraine will remain unchanged in 2025. The population pays for electricity at a rate of 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour.
However, since September 1, electricity distribution tariffs have already increased for a number of suppliers, for some regional energy companies the increase was over 20%. Electricity distribution operators in Rivne, Kirovohrad and Khmelnytskyi regions have suffered the most.
At the same time, at the end of July, the National Energy Regulatory Commission of Ukraine increased the maximum electricity prices in the electricity market for the evening hours – from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. This decision was made to increase electricity supplies from the European Union. It did not affect the population, but other market participants have to pay more.
