Some Ukrainian pensioners can get a 100% discount on utility bills, including electricity. At the same time, the funds allocated by the state can be used for the purchase of solid / liquid stove household fuel.
Several categories of pensioners can receive such a discount, in particular, those who live in rural areas and worked in the following professions:
- librarian, employee of museums;
- an employee of state and communal cultural institutions, institutions of higher education in this field;
- teachers;
- doctors and pharmacists;
- specialists in plant protection.
Note that this benefit applies only to pensioners, not to their relatives.
We will remind that starting from June 1, the tariff for electricity for the population is 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour (regardless of the amount of consumption). Also, the increase in electricity tariffs will push other communal services, including water and rent, to rise in price.
The following categories of Ukrainians should apply for a subsidy to the Pension Fund of Ukraine during the non-heating season:
- Households in which the number of actual residents is lower than the number of registered persons.
- Internally displaced persons living in the house.
- Persons applying for a subsidy for the purchase of gas, solid / liquid household fuel.
- Housing tenants who pay utility bills with their own funds.
It is worth considering that if during the heating season the amount of the subsidy was UAH 0, you need to contact the Pension Fund (regardless of the right to payment).
