In December, UAH 148 billion more was spent from the state budget than in November.
Expenditures of the general fund of the state budget amounted to UAH 3.488 billion in 2024, which is UAH 454 billion more than in 2023. This is evidenced by data from the Ministry of Finance. In December, state budget expenditures amounted to UAH 488 billion.
“Almost half a trillion hryvnias in one month. This is a record in history,” Yaroslav Zheleznyak, deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on taxes and finance, commented on the figures.
UAH 340.9 billion of budget money was spent in November. In October, state budget expenditures amounted to UAH 313 billion, compared to UAH 249 billion in September and UAH 286 billion in August.
