We inform you that after a massive cyberattack, the Register of Damages for Ukraine has resumed its work. The Ukrainian State Register of Damages RD4U is again accepting applications under category A3.1. This category provides for compensation for damages for damaged or destroyed residential real estate as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
If you are the owner of damaged or destroyed apartments and houses, you can apply for compensation through the official portal “Diya” by selecting the “Reparations” section and category A3.1.
We emphasize that you can apply to the Register of Damages regardless of:
where your property is located, including on the TOT;
whether you received compensation under the “eRecovery” program;
whether the property right to real estate is registered in the State Register of Property Rights to Real Estate of Ukraine.
You have the right to compensation, apply and receive compensation for the damages caused.
The government has allocated another 15 billion UAH for IDP families who lost their homes as a result of the war. Now internally displaced persons will receive certificates for buying a home more quickly. This amount will be used within the framework of the e-Reconstruction program.
Who can use this assistance?
Only Ukrainians with IDP status who lost their only real estate due to hostilities can use this program. The service is available for compensation for destroyed housing in controlled territory or in an active hostilities zone.
If you have IDP status, but have not yet applied for e-Reconstruction:
Register a report about destroyed property on the portal or in the application.
Apply for a certificate.
Wait for the commission’s conclusion on the condition of housing – this takes up to 30 days.
If you have an eRecovery certificate but have not yet booked funds:
Apply for a reservation through Diya or the Central Assistance Center.
Wait for confirmation of the availability of funds.
Within 30 days from the moment of confirmation of the certificate reservation, terminate the ownership of the destroyed housing. Then conclude a notary public’s agreement on the purchase and sale of a new home.
If you already have a booked and confirmed housing certificate, you will have 30 days to purchase a new home. And no additional actions are required. The eRecovery program continues to operate in Diya.
