The zero rate will apply to incoming and outgoing payments to simplify payment for education, medical treatment and business purchases.
The mobile bank monobank has completely canceled the fee for sending and crediting foreign SWIFT transfers for all categories of clients. This was announced by the co-founder of monobank Oleg Horohovsky. Previously, for such a transaction, users had to pay a fixed fee, which on average amounted to about UAH 1,000.
“As a result of this decision, the financial institution will lose more than UAH 11 million in annual income,” Horohovsky said.
The cancellation of the commission will allow entrepreneurs to reduce costs for purchasing goods abroad, and citizens to pay for international treatment, training or purchase military ammunition without additional losses. The updated conditions for cross-border transfers have already come into force for millions of active mobile banking users. The monobank project operates under the license of Universal Bank, which is one of the leaders in the Ukrainian market in terms of the number of cards issued.
